Why Host a Journey of Generosity?

For many who have experienced a JOG, the next step is to simply continue living the journey. But for those who would like to share the message with others, consider the joy of becoming a JOG host.

Inviting others to experience a JOG allows them to share in the joy of generosity and participate in changing our world.

The mission is simple

"Spread the message of biblical generosity in order to grow generous givers among those entrusted with much."

The impact is measurable

Surveys taken of attendees 30-45 days after the event reveal the following:

70% of attendees had a change in perspective or practice as a result of the event.
47% gave a gift they previously would not have.
77% plan to give a new gift in the next 12 months they would not have, otherwise.
91% have talked about the impact of the event with someone else.

Three simple steps to hosting

1. Pick a date
You set the date at a time that is convenient for you and your potential attendees.

2. Find a venue
The location should be suitable for 12-20 people. Along with the accommodations, the host will also be responsible for providing food and beverages for attendees during the event.

3. Fill the room
Once the date and location are set, invite your friends, family and acquaintances to the JOG. Reach out to those who have a heart for generosity, with whom God has entrusted with much. The ideal number of participants is anywhere between 12 and 20 people.

We take care of the rest

Upon your completion of the steps above, Generous Giving will provide the materials along with a facilitator for the JOG event. We are also here for support if you have any questions along the way. Please contact Lindsey Clark at lindsey@generousgiving.org or call 321.328.1463.
