One Day
Giving is not mainly an obligation for followers of Christ; it is an exciting opportunity to grow closer to God and to lay up treasure for all eternity. Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35b). The One-Day Generosity Experience is a regional event hosted by an organization, church or small group of motivated givers to share the life-changing message of generosity with their peers.
Why Attend a One Day? This experience, designed primarily for abundantly blessed Christians (individuals and couples of all ages), allows givers to learn from God's word, hear inspirational stories of generosity, reflect on their personal giving habits, and discuss them in small groups with their peers in a safe environment. While these events may be convened by a church or ministry organization, solicitation is never allowed at any Generous Giving event. |
