Storyline: Live The Journey

Welcome to the Generous Giving Storyline!

Todd Harper

If you're new to Generous Giving, we're a privately-funded nonprofit organization that does not solicit funds or award grants. Instead, we aim to spread the biblical message of generosity in order to grow generous givers among those entrusted with much. At Generous Giving we often say we do two things: we tell stories and we ask questions. Why do we tell stories? Stories are a pathway to our heart and in story we find models which can help us change.

In this new bi-monthly communication we hope to encourage you with stories and more, as you grow in your giving journey. Whether you want to start, grow, or share your journey, we want to travel together into the bigger story God is writing through our lives.

“That's why I tell stories: to create readiness, to nudge the people toward receptive insight.”
- Jesus (Matthew 13:11, The Message)

The Joy of Giving

Do you sometimes find yourself feeling as if you’re “swimming against the current” in a society that emphasizes material things over spiritual things? Meet Jess and Angela Correll. As a successful business owner, Jess openly shares that he wrestles with greed, but together this couple share how they are integrating the joy of giving into every facet of their lives.

The Power of Your Story

Telling your own story creates communication that is interactive, genuine and personalized.  Yet, when it comes to money, barriers may prevent us from sharing our story.  Use this tool to identify barriers, shape your own story and share it with those in your life.
