	Hope for This Recession No doubt this recession has hit many of us hard, and some of us are wrestling with what it means to continue giving in the midst of economic uncertainty. In this edition of Storyline we take a closer look at how to keep a biblical perspective in this time of financial change and explore what it means to live generously in good times and bad. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11 Generous Giving is a privately-funded nonprofit organization that does not solicit funds or award grants. Instead we aim to spread the biblical message of generosity in order to grow generous givers among those entrusted with much. Through Storyline, we encourage you to start, grow or share your giving journey.

	Surrendering Everything It has been said that calamity clarifies. During this time of change, hear the amazing story of Bill and Vonette Bright who signed a contract with God to surrender everything to Him. The Bright’s share what their commitment has meant for them and how they have seen God provide for their needs.

	The Certainty of Economic Uncertainty Have you ever wondered what God thinks about the recession? In this unique presentation, Christian financial expert Ron Blue briefly chronicles six decades of economic uncertainty and explores God’s perspective on our current economic crisis. He believes this may be our greatest opportunity to show the world who is really in control, and he uses the certainty of economic uncertainty to remind us where our faith belongs.

	My Hope by Todd Harper This recession has been difficult for me and many of my friends. Almost everyone with any assets has lost money as asset values have fallen, and in many cases fallen precipitously. I don’t like losing money. It creates anxiety and fear in me.
